Terms of Service
Fed Terms of Service
Effective date: Nov 1, 2026
Key points in plain language. Fed is a meal subscription service that renews weekly. You can change, skip, pause or cancel online any time before the weekly deadline (Wednesday, 12:00 pm Pacific). Our meals are designed by dietitians, but they are not medical treatment. Report any problem with an order within 48 hours of delivery. This summary is for convenience; the full terms below govern.
1. About these Terms
1.1 Agreement. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and FedFedFed Inc. ("Fed", "we", "us", "our"), a Canadian company based in Vancouver, Canada. They govern your use of fedfedfed.com, app.fedfedfed.com, our mobile apps and the meals and other products we sell (together, the "Services").
1.2 Acceptance. By creating an account, placing an order, or ticking the box at checkout, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1.3 Other terms. Some offers, gift cards and programs have their own terms, which we will show you before you take part. If they conflict with these Terms, the specific terms apply to that offer. Corporate customers are governed by their own written agreement.
1.4 Your rights under law. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the province where you live that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least the age of majority in your province of residence and able to enter a binding contract.
2.2 We deliver only within our service areas, currently in select geographic areas in BC, AB, and ON. Service areas are shown on our How It Works page and may change. We may decline an address in our discretion.
3. Your account
3.1 Accurate information. You agree to give us accurate, current and complete information, including a delivery address and a working phone number, and to keep it up to date.
3.2 One account per person. You may hold one account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
3.3 Security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@fedfedfed.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3.4 Email address. Your account email cannot currently be changed after registration. To use a different email, close your account and open a new one.
3.5 Suspension. We may suspend or close an account that gives false information, is used fraudulently, or seriously breaches these Terms. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
4. Plans and how your subscription works
4.1 Plans. We offer a Personalized Plan, where we select meals to match your dietary stream, calorie range and preferences, and Build Your Box, where you choose meals yourself. Optional Chef's Add-Ons may be added to either plan.
4.2 Automatic weekly renewal. Your plan is a continuous subscription that renews automatically every week until you pause or cancel it. By selecting your meal schedule or box size, you authorize us to charge your payment method each week for that week's order. You can change or cancel your meal schedule or box size at anytime before the weekly order deadline.
4.3 If you don't choose meals. If you do not make or change your selections before the weekly deadline, we will send your most recent schedule with meals we select from the current menu, based on your plan and preferences. You will be charged for that order.
4.4 Weekly deadline. You may add, remove, swap or skip meals, change your delivery address, or pause until Wednesday at 12:00 pm Pacific Time (3:00 pm Eastern) before the delivery week. After the deadline, that week's order is confirmed and cannot be changed or cancelled.
4.5 Pause. You can pause by setting your schedule to "no meals" or using the pause option on the Deliveries page. A pause stays in place until you change it, and you are not charged while paused.
4.6 Cancel. There is no minimum commitment. You can cancel at any time in your account under Settings, "Close Account", or by emailing support@fedfedfed.com. If you cancel before the weekly deadline, you will not be charged for the following week. Orders already confirmed will still be delivered and charged. We will confirm your cancellation by email.
4.7 Changes to your preferences (dietary stream, allergies, calorie range) apply from the next order cycle after the deadline.
5. Ordering and contract formation
5.1 Prices and menus on our site are an invitation to order. Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when we send you an order confirmation or receipt.
5.2 If we cannot fill all or part of an order, we will tell you and either substitute a comparable meal (Section 9.3) or refund the affected amount.
5.3 If we make an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel the affected order before delivery and refund you in full.
6. Prices, payment and taxes
6.1 Prices. Prices are in Canadian dollars and are shown before you order. Applicable taxes and any delivery fees are shown on the order summary page or the billing page.
6.2 Weekly billing. We charge your payment method on file each week after the deadline. A receipt is emailed to you, and an updated receipt is sent if a permitted change affects your total.
6.3 Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it, charge another payment method on your account, or suspend deliveries until the balance is paid. You remain responsible for amounts owed for delivered orders.
6.4 Price changes. We may change plan prices or fees. We will give you at least 7 days' written notice by email before any increase applies to your plan. You may cancel at no cost before the increase takes effect. Prices may change without any notice for accounts that have not ordered for 12 or more weeks.
6.5 Updating payment details. You can update your payment method on the Billing page at any time.
7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery days. We currently deliver on Sundays and Wednesdays within the delivery window shown in your account. Times are estimates.
7.2 Unattended delivery. If no one is home, our courier will leave your order at your door or the location in your delivery instructions. Meals are packed to stay cold for several hours, but please refrigerate them as soon as possible.
7.3 Safe access. You agree to give accurate delivery instructions and safe access to your address, such as building codes and a clear path.
7.4 Risk and ownership. Ownership and risk of loss pass to you when your order is delivered to your delivery address.
7.5 Missed or failed deliveries. If we cannot deliver because of severe weather or another event outside our control, we will try to redeliver as soon as reasonably possible or credit or refund the affected order. If delivery fails because the address or instructions you gave were wrong or incomplete, we are not required to refund that order.
7.6 Address changes must be made before the weekly deadline to apply to the next delivery.
8. Cancellation by Fed
8.1 We may stop offering the Services, or stop serving an area, with reasonable notice. If we do, we will refund any amounts paid for orders we will not deliver.
9. Problems with an order, credits and refunds
9.1 Report within 72 hours. If a meal is missing, damaged, spoiled, incorrect or arrived warm, contact support@fedfedfed.com or (604) 900-8598 within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order date and a photo of the affected item and its label.
9.2 What we'll do. If the problem is ours, we will, at your choice where reasonable, replace the item in a future delivery, credit your account, or refund the affected amount to your original payment method. Refunds are processed within 15 business days of our confirming them.
9.3 Substitutions. If an ingredient or meal becomes unavailable, we may substitute a comparable item that fits your dietary stream and recorded allergies. Substitutes may differ in ingredients and nutrition, so always check the label before eating.
9.4 No returns of food. For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of delivered food.
9.5 Otherwise non-refundable. Except as set out in these Terms or required by law, confirmed orders are non-refundable once the weekly deadline has passed.
10. Health, nutrition and medical disclaimer
10.1 Not medical advice. Fed's meals and nutrition information are designed by dietitians for general healthy eating. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and using Fed does not create a dietitian-client or doctor-patient relationship. Fed is not a medical organization and the Services are not medically supervised.
10.2 Condition-specific streams. Our Diabetes, Heart Healthy, Fatty Liver, Pre-Natal, Postpartum, Keto and similar streams are general nutrition plans built around published dietary guidance. They are not tailored to your medical history and do not replace care from your physician, registered dietitian or other health professional.
10.3 Talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes, kidney, liver or heart disease, an eating disorder or another medical condition, take medication affected by diet (for example insulin, blood thinners or blood-pressure medication), or plan a significant change to your diet or calorie intake. If your doctor's advice differs from anything we provide, follow your doctor.
10.4 Results. We do not promise any specific health, weight or performance result. Our meals are not designed specifically for weight loss.
10.5 Nutrition data. Nutrition values, including the nutrients we track, are calculated from recipes and ingredient data and are estimates. Actual values vary with ingredient batches, portioning and preparation.
10.6 Children. Kids meals are designed for children, not infants. Do not serve Fed products to children under 5 years old. Calorie ranges and condition-specific streams are designed for adults.
11. Allergens and food safety
11.1 Cross contamination. Our meals are prepared in a facility that also handles priority food allergens, including peanuts and tree nuts, fish, crustaceans and shellfish, milk, eggs, soy, wheat and gluten, mustard and sesame. Although we follow allergen-management practices, we cannot guarantee any meal is free of an allergen. If you have a severe allergy, consider whether our Services are safe for you.
11.2 Your allergy settings. On the Personalized Plan you can record allergies and restrictions and we will exclude or swap affected meals. Chef's Add-Ons and Build Your Box selections are not filtered for allergies, restrictions or calorie targets; check ingredients before ordering.
11.3 Read the label. Always read the meal label, or scan its QR code, before eating, and check it again for any substituted item.
11.4 Storage and heating. Refrigerate meals at or below 4°C as soon as they arrive, eat them within 4 days of delivery or by the date on the label, and heat them as directed until hot throughout. Meals are designed to be eaten fresh; if you freeze them, quality is not guaranteed, and we advise against freezing salads, chia puddings and parfaits. Do not eat any meal that is past its date, damaged or smells or looks unusual.
11.5 Your responsibility after delivery. Once your order is delivered, you are responsible for storing, heating and handling it safely, following the Government of Canada's safe food handling guidance.
12. Packaging
Our meal trays are paper-based and microwave- and oven-safe. Peel off the plastic liner and place it in garbage; the tray can be recycled or composted where your municipality accepts it. Please follow your local recycling rules.
13. Gift cards, credits, promotions and referrals
13.1 Gift cards are redeemable only for Fed products, do not expire, have no dormancy fees, and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law. Treat them like cash; we are not responsible for lost or stolen cards.
13.2 Account credit that you paid for, including gift card balances, does not expire. Promotional, referral and goodwill credits have no cash value and may expire on the date stated when issued.
13.3 Promotions. Introductory and promotional offers are for new customers unless stated otherwise, are limited to one per person and household, cannot be combined unless stated, and apply only to the orders described in the offer. When a promotion ends, your subscription continues at the regular price unless you cancel before the next weekly deadline.
13.4 Referrals. You may share your referral code with people you know personally, including on your own social media. You may not post it on coupon, deal or aggregator sites, or use it to refer yourself or a household member.
13.5 Misuse. If we reasonably believe a promotion, referral or credit was obtained through fraud, multiple accounts or a breach of these Terms, we may cancel it and charge the regular price for orders it was applied to.
13.6 Closing your account. On closure, unused promotional and referral credits are forfeited. If you have unused paid credit or gift card balance, contact us and we will refund it where required by law.
14. Communications
14.1 Service messages. We will send emails about your account, deadlines, billing and deliveries. These are part of the Services.
14.2 Marketing. We send marketing emails or texts only with your consent, in line with Canada's anti-spam legislation. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by replying STOP to any text. Standard message and data rates may apply.
14.3 Electronic notices. You agree that notices, receipts and other communications we send electronically satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.
15. Your content and feedback
15.1 If you post reviews, photos or other content about Fed on our Services or tag us on social media, you keep ownership of it. You grant Fed a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and display it to operate and promote the Services. We will ask before using your name or likeness in paid advertising.
15.2 Your content must be honest, lawful and your own, and must not be abusive, misleading or infringe anyone's rights. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
15.3 If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely without obligation to you.
16. Intellectual property
The Services, including our recipes, meal names, nutrition algorithms, menus, text, photos, logos and software, belong to Fed or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use them only for your personal, non-commercial use of the Services. Fed and related names and logos are our trademarks.
17. Acceptable use
You agree not to: resell our meals or use the Services commercially without our written consent; use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on our site or app; attempt to access other accounts or our systems; interfere with the Services; reverse engineer our software; misrepresent your identity; or use the Services for anything unlawful.
18. Warranties and disclaimers
18.1 Our promise. We will prepare your meals with reasonable care and skill, and they will match their description and be fit to eat when delivered and stored as directed.
18.2 Website and app. We work to keep our website and app available and accurate, but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free.
18.3 Other warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all other warranties and conditions, express or implied. This does not affect warranties or conditions that cannot lawfully be excluded under your province's consumer protection or sale of goods laws.
19. Limitation of liability
19.1 Indirect losses. To the extent permitted by law, Fed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business interruption, arising from the Services.
19.2 Cap. To the extent permitted by law, Fed's total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid Fed in the 3 months before the claim arose and $100.
19.3 What we don't limit. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
19.4 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, power or network outages, labour disputes, supply shortages, pandemics or government action. If such an event prevents a delivery, we will credit or refund the affected order.
20. Indemnity
If you breach these Terms or misuse the Services, and a third party makes a claim against Fed as a result, you agree to compensate Fed for its reasonable losses and legal costs, to the extent permitted by law. This does not apply to claims caused by Fed's own fault.
21. Changes to these Terms or the Services
21.1 Material changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a material change to these Terms that affects you adversely takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect, at no cost.
21.2 Other changes. Changes that are required by law, or that do not reduce your rights, take effect when posted. The current version and its effective date will always be at fedfedfed.com/legal/terms.
21.3 Menus and features. We regularly update menus, meals, recipes and app features. Those updates are part of the Services and are not changes to these Terms.
22. Ending this agreement
22.1 You may end this agreement at any time by closing your account (Section 4.6).
22.2 We may end this agreement or suspend your account under Section 3.5 or Section 8.1.
22.3 Sections that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations for delivered orders, Sections 10, 11 and 15 to 20, and Section 23, survive the end of this agreement.
23. Disputes and governing law
23.1 Talk to us first. If you have a concern, contact support@fedfedfed.com. Most issues are resolved quickly, and we will respond to written complaints within 10 business days.
23.2 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live in another province, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your province, and nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim in your home province where the law allows.
23.3 Courts. Subject to Section 23.2, disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia. You may also bring a claim in small claims court or the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal where eligible, or complain to your provincial consumer protection agency.
24. General
24.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy and any offer-specific terms are the entire agreement between you and Fed about the Services.
24.2 Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to a company that takes over our business, and will notify you if we do.
24.3 Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
24.4 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right right away, we may still enforce it later.
24.5 Language. The parties have required that these Terms and related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties ont exigé que les présentes conditions et tous les documents connexes soient rédigés en anglais.
